A TUSCAN REVERIE AT VILLA PETRIOLO

There are weddings — and then there are celebrations that feel as if they’ve been gently shaped by the light itself. For Emma and Jared, their day unfolded like a dream under the soft Tuscan sun at Villa Petriolo, a historic estate nestled among vineyards and cypress-lined hills just outside Florence. With its rustic stone architecture, sun-drenched terraces, and sweeping views of the countryside, the villa offered the perfect canvas for a celebration that was intimate, warm, and effortlessly chic.
RUSTIC SOPHISTICATION IN THE HEART OF TUSCANY
Villa Petriolo is the kind of place that lingers in memory: an elegant agricultural estate that marries rustic stone architecture with Tuscan serenity, vineyards stretching into the horizon and cypress‑lined pathways offering silhouettes against endless golden light.
It’s a setting where the landscape becomes part of the celebration, and the light itself seems to dance over every detail. Here, Emma and Jared’s wedding was not just a day — it was a lived experience, a blend of comfort and sophistication set within nature’s enduring beauty.

Behind the scenes, the vision was brought to life by Lucia Boriosi, whose thoughtful planning allowed each moment to unfold with ease and beauty. From the long dining table set beneath the whispering Tuscan sky to the organic palette of textures and hues, every detail felt intentional yet relaxed.

The tablescape — a long table set between two rows of cypress trees, combined straight and curved arrangements—was an inspired mix that captured the best of both classic and contemporary design.
The florals & decorations, created by Il Profumo Dei Fiori, were chosen to reflect the couple’s aesthetic: soft linens, delicate floral accents, and a sense of ease that invited heartfelt connection.

THE ART OF AUTHENTIC PHOTOGRAPHY
Photographer of the weekend was Martina Boggian, whose artistry blends intimacy and editorial polish. “The special thing about this wedding, was the connection I had with the bride and the groom. The weather was perfect and I fell in love with the table setting,” she shared. Part of the collection was shot on 35mm film, lending the images a warm, authentic quality. Every photograph feels tactile and alive, from the laughter shared along the vineyard paths to quiet, tender moments between the couple.

A Celebration to Be Felt
The magic of the day extended beyond flowers and tablescapes. Emma and Jared prioritized bringing everyone together under one roof, creating a private, immersive experience for their 88 guests. The weekend unfolded like a series of treasured scenes: quiet morning light filtering through villa windows, shared smiles along vineyard paths, and the glow of sunset as guests toasted with Tuscan wine. Rather than orchestrated perfection, these were moments of genuine connection.
In a world of weddings that strive for brilliance, this weekend found beauty in its calm, in its honesty, and in the way every detail felt rooted in place and meaning.

A Day Etched in Light and Memory
Villa Petriolo is more than a venue—it is a living, breathing part of the celebration. In Emma and Jared’s wedding, the estate’s timeless architecture, the surrounding Tuscan landscape, and the thoughtful, nuanced design all came together to create a day that felt at once effortless and elevated. With the artistry of Martina Boggian behind the lens and a dedicated team orchestrating each detail, the wedding became not just an event, but a story of love, connection, and the beauty of a celebration fully lived.
